One optometry office for Westerville families.
Our New Albany office has an iCare tonometer with no air puff, a Marco digital refractor, and wide-field retinal imaging. Your doctor selects the tests that fit your age and needs. Most patients start with a routine exam. If you wear or want contacts, have diabetes, or have a family history of macular degeneration, jump straight to the exam built for that.
Routine eye exam
A full check of your vision and eye health: refraction, eye pressure, and wide-field retinal imaging. This is the right visit for a new patient, an annual exam, or an updated glasses prescription.

Kid-friendly exams that check for vision problems that may affect learning and development. We fit exams to a child's age and attention span, starting as young as 6 months. Kids under about 6 typically get cycloplegic (dilating) drops so we can measure their prescription accurately.

A contact lens exam checks your vision, eye health, and lens fit. Your doctor may take additional measurements and fit trial lenses when needed before confirming your contact lens prescription.

Diabetes can affect the blood vessels in your retina before you notice any vision change. Retinal imaging may help document diabetic changes, and your doctor determines whether dilation and additional testing are needed.

If you have a family history of macular degeneration, ask about an exam to assess your macula, with imaging that may help identify early changes. If you notice sudden changes in your central vision, call us right away. If you cannot reach us, seek urgent medical care without waiting for our office to reopen.

For kids whose nearsightedness is progressing, we offer ortho-k, atropine drops, and myopia control contact and spectacle lenses that may help slow progression and lower the long-term eye-health risks that come with high myopia.
