Eyeglass frames in New Albany, Ohio.
Looking for eyeglass frames in New Albany, Ohio? We hand-pick every frame on our boards. There's no algorithm choosing what's in our optical. Our team decides what fits our patients, what holds up to real wear, and what we'd actually put on a friend.
Frames are fit and finished in our in-house lab. Most prescriptions are ready within a few days, and some straightforward single-vision Rx can be finished the same day, depending on lens availability.

Designer & luxury.
Italian acetates and American houses, for patients who care about the name on the temple.
Everyday classic.
Our workhorses: recognized names, versatile fits, and styles that don't go out of date. The deepest part of our optical.
Sport & sunglasses.
Polarized lenses, secure wrap fits, materials that handle sweat and salt water. Oakley includes both RX and Sun, with popular sport and lifestyle fits available.
We also build prescription sunglasses in most frames on the boards, with polarized and polarized-mirror lenses from our lens lab.
Kids & teens.
Built for the way kids actually wear glasses: flexible hinges, bendable nylon, replaceable parts. Newborn through high school. The Nano line bends instead of breaks, with options for every age group.
Nearsightedness getting worse each year? Ask about myopia management. Stellest lenses can slow progression.
Specialty fits & modern.
For patients whose face doesn't fit standard frames, or who want something off the beaten path. Lightec paired with Trivex lens material is the lightest combo we sell.
The lens side.
Frames are half the picture. Our in-house lab uses Zeiss optics for most progressives, with Shamir as a strong alternate. For kids whose prescriptions are worsening each year, we fit Essilor Stellest myopia-control lenses.
Lens material, coatings, transitions, polarization, blue-light filtration. We walk you through every option that actually matters for your prescription and how you use your glasses, not a generic upsell sheet.
Common questions about glasses at COVE.
Q.01 Can I use my vision insurance toward glasses? +
We accept VSP and EyeMed. Most plans through these networks cover a frame allowance and a portion of your lens cost on an annual or biannual basis. We verify your specific plan benefits in advance so you know what's covered before you pick out frames.
We don't currently accept Spectera/UnitedHealthcare Vision, Davis Vision, or Superior Vision. If your employer offers VSP or EyeMed as a vision option at open enrollment, those are the two that work with us.
Q.02 How much do glasses cost at COVE? +
Total cost depends on your prescription and the options you choose: the frame, the lens material, single-vision versus progressive, polarization, coatings. We walk you through every option that actually matters for your prescription and how you use your glasses, with the full cost on the table before any lenses are ordered. No surprises at pickup.
Vision insurance can cover a significant portion of both the frame and the lenses. We verify your specific plan benefits in advance.
Q.03 How long does it take to get my glasses? +
Most prescriptions are ready in a few business days. Straightforward prescriptions (single-vision in standard materials) can often be finished the same day in our in-house lab; add an extra few minutes after your exam.
More complex prescriptions take longer because the lenses are surfaced offsite. Progressives, high powers, specialty coatings, and Stellest myopia-control lenses typically take 1–2 weeks.
Q.04 What if my prescription changes after I get my glasses? +
We remake lenses at no charge for 6 months if your prescription is off or changes. Bring the glasses back, we'll verify the new prescription, and remake the lenses. No questions, no extra cost.
Specialty lenses have their own terms on top of this. For Stellest myopia-control lenses, we remake at no charge if the prescription changes by 0.50 D (two clicks) or more. For ortho-K, we work with you until the fit is right.
Q.05 Can you fill a prescription in frames I bought somewhere else? +
Yes. Bring the frames in and we'll check the fit first. Not every online frame is structurally sound enough to take prescription lenses. Some are too narrow at the temples, off-center, or made of materials that don't survive the lens-cutting process. Once we confirm the frame works, we treat it like any other lens job.
If the frame won't work, we'll tell you honestly and show you frames on our boards that fit the same look.
Come see what fits.
The best way to find your next pair is to come in. Our optical team will narrow the selection to frames that match your prescription, face shape, and how you actually use your glasses, not the other way around.
